Donald Trump should not be the person you rely on for the legal zeitgeist. His thoughts on the Central Park 5 and repeated losses to E. Jean Carroll should attest to that, but he’s unexpectedly tapped in when it comes to rappers facing legal trouble. During his time as president, he pardoned Lil Wayne, commuted Kodak Black’s sentence, and threatened Sweden with a trade war over A$AP Rocky’s detainment. Given his niche relevance when it comes to rappers and the legal system, it’s worth noting that he’s somewhat informed of the buffoonery that is Young Thug’s RICO case. He had this to say:

For some context on how abysmally bad the state is in this case, here’s them making a good faith effort on how Brady violations only count if they get away with them:

Between the prosecution saying this, Glanville’s assessment that secret ex-partes with witnesses are far game, and the damned superior judge that agreed with him, this case has shown that there’s something rotten in the state of Georgia. Even Trump can see that.
