Globeducate adds two London schools to K12 portfolio

The group has more than 60 schools in 11 countries, having recently bought a private school in Cyprus.

L’Ecole des Petits in Fulham is a pre-primary school founded in 1977, catering to up to 120 pupils aged three to six. L’Ecole de Battersea was founded in 2005 and has a capacity of 280 students aged three to 11.

James Polansky, chief executive of Globeducate UK, said: “The commitment to fostering a love for learning and cultural awareness is evident in the school’s community and its dedication to bilingual proficiency, preparing pupils for a globalised world.

“These values fit very well with our wider Globeducate family of schools, and we look forward to welcoming staff from both schools to Globeducate.”

The London schools offer a bilingual curriculum with elements of both the French and National Curriculum for England and are inspected by both OFSTED and AEFE.

Co-director at L’Ecole Nicholas Otten said the acquisition will “secure a future for our pupils and teachers that is truly international”.

The schools will work closely with Globeducate’s bilingual schools in Paris, as well as the AEFE inspected schools in Morocco and the Netherlands, giving its teachers new connections and professional opportunities, he added.
