Just when we thought Donald Trump had a bond in place to prevent NY from having to start seizing assets, the government is asking questions about whether or not this bond really has anything behind it. These are probably just a string of clerical errors that Trump can quickly resolve. But it does re-raise the stakes of our asset seizure bracket.
Not that this isn’t all going to end with some seizures since Trump’s bond — even if it survives this inquiry — doesn’t cover the full value of the judgment.
Here we are after the Excisable Eight Round.
(1) Bedminster v. (1) Trump Tower
Did you know the Bedminster property included John DeLorean’s estate? There’s some kind of Back to the Future/Make America Great Again symbolism there. Especially since future Biff was not-exactly-subtly a Trump homage. LAYERS!
On the other hand, Bedminster might lose some value if the Hellmouth opens:
Facing off against his top golf course is Trump Tower, which now stands alone as the final asset in the competition from the skyline of New York that Eric Trump seems to think his dad built.

It’s actually difficult to seize a home in Florida. Thankfully, Mar-a-Lago isn’t technically a residence as much as a club where he’s squatting with the tacit approval of town officials. But the club faces its toughest challenge yet when it runs into the buzzsaw of this competition:
Something about Trump Force One that really strikes voters.
Maybe it’s that it’s a rare Boeing that hasn’t blown a hatch.
