It’s hard for me to believe … that I actually had to report as a defendant in a criminal case.

— Rudy Giuliani, former lawyer to Donald Trump, in comments given on his America’s Mayor Live social media show, following his posting of a $10,000 bond in Arizona on charges that he attempted to subvert the results of the 2020 election. He was ordered to post the bond after allegedly eluding service in the case. Giuliani also said that he’d been fingerprinted and had a mugshot taken. He pleaded not guilty to charges, and his trial is set to begin in October.
